Windows XP Registry Guide

If you think you know all about windows I bet you don't know about the hive.
Most people say I know all about Windows and How it works then change to another Operating System like Linux or Unix for more security and to learn.

Windows can have better security as well but it is in the HIVE or Reg on how it is set up. This book is good for just leaning about the Windows Registry and is good to the more advanced people. I have used Reg Editing for public computers to keep security tight on Windows. However this book does not show you how to but it gets you comfortable with the Reg Files.

I like this book and since most windows are based after an existing one this is probably still true for VISTA. (Don't quote me on that I am not sure, still installing VISTA)
